Where Local Inventory information is available and inventory is in stock, we will match the price shown on maccosmetics.com at our M·A·C Cosmetics stores at the time of purchase. M·A·C Cosmetics are also available online at Bloomingdales.com, Nordstrom.com, Belk.com, Dillards.com and Macys.com. M·A·C Pro Members can purchase M·A·C Cosmetics online with their discount at macpro.com

2 HOW CAN I WORK FOR M·A·C?

3 HOW DO I BECOME A M·A·C ARTIST?

We are always looking for bright, energetic individuals to represent us.

While M·A·C offers advanced classes for professional artists in select cities in North America, we do not have courses for aspiring artists.

For a Makeup Artist position within a department store that carries M·A·C Cosmetics, please inquire at the M·A·C counter. You can also inquire with the Human Resources Director of the store and indicate your preference to work at the M·A·C counter.

For a Makeup Artist position in a M·A·C store, please inquire with the Store Manager directly. To find address and phone number information for stores in your area, go to Find Stores.

4 HOW CAN I BOOK A MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?

We'd love to do your makeup! Appointments are booked individually by store so select a location and call directly for scheduling and costs.

5 HOW CAN I BOOK A BRIDAL OR PRIVATE APPOINTMENT?

M·A·C Cosmetics offers makeup consultations at all of our M·A·C counter locations. Consultations offer you the opportunity to work directly with our highly trained M·A·C Artists. Go to our Find Stores page to locate a M·A·C store near you.

6 HOW DO I RECYCLE M·A·C PRODUCTS?

OUR BACK TO M·A·C PROGRAM

Because we share your commitment to the environment, M·A·C accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back To M·A·C Program.

While our free product incentive has come to an end, our commitment to Back-To-M·A·C remains.

We encourage you to bring back your empties in-store or online to be processed through the program and hope you'll follow us for updates as we further evolve the program for greater action and impact.

8What if my package is missing?

If the tracking information for your package is confirmed delivered, and you are unable to locate the delivered package please:

9 CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your M·A·C purchase, simply return the unused portion and we will remit your account for the full amount of the purchase or exchange for another item. If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased Online, either placed in a M·A·C Store by a M·A·C Artist using our in-store mobile app or on maccosmetics.com, please click here for step-by-step directions on returning in-store or by mail. Please note that Gift Cards and eGift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you prefer to return your order in store, please provide the store associate with your email address or bring your shipping confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.

10DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

11 HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Contact us within one hour of placing your order via CHAT LIVE, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

12 I RECEIVED THE WRONG PRODUCT, CAN I RETURN IT?

13 MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

When your order arrives, please inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please retain the box, the packing materials, and the items inside and contact us immediately for assistance via CHAT or via phone at 1-800-588-0070. If you are unable to retain the contents due to the extent of damage, handle with care to take a photo of damaged item(s), and then safely discard of the damaged contents.

14 WHEN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM, THERE ARE TWO TRANSACTIONS ON MY CREDIT CARD. CAN YOU EXPLAIN?

When an exchange is requested, it is completed in two steps:
1) A credit is issued for the item(s) returned.
2) A new order is processed for the item(s) requested in exchange.
Two transactions will be posted to your account: a credit for the returned item(s) and one charge for the item(s) requested in exchange. While both transactions are processed in our systems at the same time, please note that the issuing bank/credit card company may take up to 10 business days to post the credit to your account.

15 WHY IS MY FAVOURITE PRODUCT DISCONTINUED? CAN I STILL PURCHASE IT?

Decisions to discontinue or introduce a product or size are made in response to consumer preferences and purchasing patterns throughout the country. CHAT LIVE with a M·A·C Artist, who will be happy to help find you a new favourite.

16 WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT CAN I USE?

For online orders shipped within the United States, the following Credit Cards are accepted: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We also accept PayPal, Afterpay and Gift Cards and eGift Cards purchased from M•A•C freestanding retail stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, maccosmetics.com and maccosmetis.ca.

Please enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. For orders shipped to the United States, we accept billing addresses from the United States, Canada and select international countries.

Orders placed with Afterpay, Gift Cards will be charged at the time of order placement. Orders placed with other payment methods will be charged at the time the order ships.
 

17 WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IF I PURCHASE A “PRE-ORDER” ITEM?

Pre-Order is the ability to reserve a product prior to the date on which it becomes available for immediate purchase on www.maccosmetics.com. When you purchase a Pre-Order item, we will provide an estimated ship date for that item on your order confirmation email; this date is also visible in the Order History section of your account. Pre-Order items may ship separately from other items in your order, and you will receive a shipping confirmation email when the shipment occurs. If we are unable to ship your product by the estimated ship date, we will provide you with notice and you will have an option to cancel.

18 WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR A PRE-ORDER PURCHASE?

M·A·C Cosmetics Online does not charge your credit or debit card until your item(s) has shipped (excluding M·A·C Online purchases made using our Artist-assisted in-store app). However, prior to shipment, your debit or credit card statement may show an “authorization hold,” which may look similar to a deduction from your account. These funds have not been deducted but are instead being reserved within your account to ensure that your order can be processed. The authorization hold will typically last from three to seven days, depending on the policy of your bank or card issuer.

19 WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR A M·A·C ONLINE PURCHASE MADE IN A M·A·C STORE USING OUR ARTIST-ASSISTED IN-STORE MOBILE APP?

If your M·A·C Online order is placed by an Artist in a M·A·C Store using our in-store mobile app using a payment card or PayPal, the full purchase price will be immediately charged to your payment card or PayPal account at the time of purchase.
